Elevator pitch

The museum's outdated website makes navigation difficult and fails to showcase its offerings effectively. A redesign will improve user experience, attract a younger audience, and position the museum as an immersive experience rather than just a destination—ultimately driving more visitors and revenue.
Current Whistler house Website

Style tile

I went with an Art deco-style which created a historical, rich and immersive look. I chose deep navy, teal, burgundy, and dark green for a classic, museum-like vibe, with gold patterns adding a touch of luxury. The serif typography reinforces a timeless feel, while vintage imagery and textures like ornate frames and draped fabrics bring depth. I designed this to feel bold, refined, and engaging, making it perfect for a museum or gallery experience.

User story

Visitors to the Whistler House need a website that allows them to easily navigate and discover new artists, explore past exhibitions, and conveniently access essential information like hours and location. Additionally, they want a seamless way to donate and support the museum. The redesigned experience should make engaging with the Whistler House effortless and enjoyable.
