My semester-long project focused on building a visual brand identity from the ground up for Hilu, a savory and nutritious cereal brand designed for busy adults seeking a quick, satisfying meal without compromising on quality or flavor. The project explored how strategic branding and packaging design could redefine traditional expectations surrounding breakfast foods while introducing a more modern and culturally distinct alternative to the cereal market.

One of the biggest challenges throughout the development process was finding the right balance between stability and approachability. I wanted the brand to feel structured, trustworthy, and refined while still maintaining a sense of warmth and accessibility. Through iterative design exploration, typography studies, color development, and packaging systems, I worked to create an identity that felt both dependable and inviting, reflecting the comfort of a nourishing meal alongside the efficiency of an on-the-go lifestyle.
